Humans love a good story. Think about the last time you heard (or watched) a good story unfold before you. You were invested from the beginning. Then as characters were introduced and the plot thickened, you waited with bated breath for the next moment.
Stories are how humans have communicated for centuries. Traditions were passed from generation to generation by words, music, or pictures. My grandfather didn’t speak much, but when he did, he would weave a tale sparing no detail. Okay, sure. Some people in my family prefer the headlined version, but not me. Well, that is except for potential customers.
Businesses that use storytelling as part of their marketing strategy perform better than those that don’t.
