We hear a lot about manifesting. One of the ways of the warrior is to use resources to create the life you want. The second warrior principle is Awake. This is the principle that enables manifestation, which is the act of aligning your mindset, beliefs, and actions to attract more of what you want.
The law of attraction, as it’s more commonly known, has its origin in quantum physics. All matter vibrates. And those things that vibrate at the same frequency will move toward one another. Think of manifestation as vibrating at the same frequencies as those things that you want. Here are three tips for practicing manifestation in 2023.
Clear Out The Old To Make Way For The New – Physically + Mentally
A couple of times a year, I purge my house. As I prepare to move to Austin, this year’s purge has been epic. Before now, the biggest purge I did came after my Dad died. I’m still looking for things I threw out. Though I do this because I don’t like clutter, the real benefit of this practice is to create space.
Clutter blocks energy and creates dead spots in your home or office, and, ultimately your life. When energy can’t flow, the negative energy can’t leave and the positive energy can’t enter. The stagnant energy in your surroundings will make it difficult for you to change your vibration to attract what you desire. This doesn’t only apply to your physical space, but your mental and emotional space as well.
In the same way you clear physical clutter from your home, you have to intentionally clear clutter from your mind or life. This could mean meditation, going to therapy, releasing people from your life that cause you strife, or cutting energy cords. Once you do this, the new has an entry point and fertile “soil” to land in and take root.
Place Your Order
The key is to state your intention like you’re ordering from a menu. You should also write it down. Describe what you want in your next job or in a partner. The universe doesn’t know what to deliver if you’re not clear with yourself first.
Imagine going to a restaurant and telling the waitress you want a steak. The waitress will bring you her interpretation of your order. But if you tell her you want a medium rare porterhouse in wine sauce with garlic potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts, you will receive the meal you desire.
State your intention, including how it looks, feels, smells, acts, etc. How will your life be different when it comes to pass?
Manifestation Isn’t A Wish, It’s Enduring Action
Something many people get wrong about manifesting is that they see it as a one-time thing. That’s a wish. This isn’t a Disney movie and you can’t wish upon a star. You have to put your intentions into consistent action. Speak and live as if what you want already exists.
When I was in high school, I would ride the “L” train to downtown Chicago. When the trained passed banker’s row, I would look at the Chicago Board of Trade and state, “I will work there.” I envisioned what that would be like. The clothes I would wear; my badge to let me onto the floor; my train stop, and walk to the doors. The image was so vivid.
The summer after my freshman year of college, I started working for Swiss Bank (now UBS) inside the Chicago Board of Trade as an intern. Every summer until graduation, I returned to work there.
After you create space, you must maintain it and keep it clean. Whatever you want to enter your life needs the space to enter and grow. And you attract at the frequency you vibrate. If you speak and act in the negative, what takes root is negative. If you exude positive energy, that’s what will come. Do you know someone who always seems to be surrounded by drama? It feels like there is always something happening to them. There’s a reason for that. They like it, so they attract it.
A seed will be sown and grow, only you determine if that seed is poison ivy or roses.
