Try This Unbelievably Simple Positive-Thinking Hack You Can Do Every Day That Requires No Effort

Sustaining mindset shifts can be simple. The secret to impactful and lasting transformation is stacking small things to create big change. This is one of my absolute favorite simple positive mindset hacks. Passwords.

You Literally Do This Several Times A Day

Four years ago, when I began my journey to Warrior Unleashed, I found mantras inspired me to keep exploring possibilities. But you have to remember the mantra or remember to recite it. Ultimately, it becomes a task that, if you forget, makes you feel bad. So I started doing something really simple that I couldn’t fail at or forget. I turned my mantras into passwords.

Of course, I won’t be sharing the mantras or my method for creating the passwords for obvious reasons. By doing this, I began to recite my mantras multiple times a day without thinking. And every time I had to enter my password, which is about a dozen times a day, it felt like I was reminding myself to be positive.

This hack is so simple because you have to enter passwords or PIN codes every day, all day.

The Power of Mantras

Reciting mantras daily can have a variety of benefits for both the mind and body. One of the most significant benefits is that it can help to reduce stress and anxiety. This is because mantras are often used as a form of meditation, and the repetitive nature of the words can help to focus the mind and calm the body. Additionally, mantras can help to increase self-awareness, which can lead to a greater understanding of one’s thoughts and emotions.

Another benefit of reciting mantras daily is that it can improve overall well-being. Mantras are believed to have a powerful energy that can help to balance the chakras and align the mind, body, and spirit. They are also thought to have a spiritual significance, and many people find that reciting mantras daily can help to deepen their connection to a higher power.

Additionally, mantras can be used to set intentions for the day, which can help to improve focus and motivation. And those who set intentions for their life generally achieve the success they desire.

How To Use A Mantra As A Password

Please, don’t overthink this. Without sharing my particular method of converting a mantra into a password, here is some inspiration to get you started.

First, keep it short and sweet. It could be a single word or a short two or three-word phrase. This word or phrase should be something meaningful to you or something you want to remind yourself of every day.

Second, follow good password hygiene. Include numbers and special characters to mix it up a bit. Hopefully, that’s something you already do 😉.

Third, change up the mantra for different sites. You may use one phrase for work, one for personal, another for fun stuff, etc. For example, “I am wealthy” for banks or investment sites.

💡If you use a password vault, you can still use this method.

Using mantras is also a great way to remember your passwords. If you use a password vault or manager, you can still use this method. The vault requires a password; could you make it a mantra? Or, use the vault for something other than three or four sites you need to access regularly, so you are forced to enter it.

If you don’t already have a mantra, here is some inspiration to spark ideas:

  • “Sat Nam” – This is a Sikh mantra that means “truth is my identity” and can help to connect with one’s true self
  • “So Hum” – This is a mantra from the yoga tradition that means “I am that” and can help to connect the individual self with the universal self.
  • “I am strong” – This mantra can help to boost self-confidence and inner strength.
  • “I am enough” – This mantra can help to build self-esteem and self-acceptance.
  • “You is kind, you is smart, you is important” – #IYKYK
